I had lost my mucus plug a few weeks before. Baby #2: Water broke as baby was crowning, so there were lots of contractions before (prodromal labor for a month, in fact). Mucus plug was lost a few hours before labor started/baby was born.I have been losing mine since 36 weeks, it was consistently losing it for 2 weeks then nothing. But I guess your body slowly regenerates it. I started losing it again at 39 weeks and I have 40weeks 4 days now.
